[Public Poll] Name Your Top Online Retail Store In Nigeria

Some months back, i wrote a draft article which I never published  about how online retail stores have been springing up around the country making it difficult for door to door retailers who travel outside the country to make bulk purchases. I picked out the four (4) underlisted brands because they are the most popular but I’m going to give you the chance to pick your top online retail store in Nigeria based on :

1. Availability of products advertised

2. Delivery turnaround time

3. Customer service

  5. Ejima, dodge Jumia. I have never tried the rest but Jumia is fucked!. 1st of all the items displayed are hardly ever available, even when they suggest alternatives, them too are unavailable. then 5 alternatives later (and me calling to shout), they finally supply me with one.

With a 7day return policy, item stops working by midnight of that 7th, entering 8th. U complain to customer services, they ignore u. i resort to blogging and tweeting (thru twits) and facebooking & bbming them. i also tell them i will do so. i even go to the displayed item i bought, click on review and finish them. each time dey delete my review till eventually dey removed the said item. i then go over to similar item and still write a review about mine.

due to my harrasment, they finally respond, sending someone to my house to come collect it, without even telling me 1st that they will come for it or that they will come that day. cos they assume i am unemployed and live to be attended by them. and they want to take it without receipt. i said fuck no! i need my evidence for fucks sake! up till now, aint collected. i am still in battle with them and going straight to their site to review a similar product.

by the way, item was 16gb flashdrive by adata.........FUCK JUMIA!!!!!

  6. I expected to see OLX and Google Trader. I once sold something very valuable via the latter and there weren't any commissions too... Ordinarily, I thought Jumia and Kaymu were great, until I read Chikezie's comments. So, I'll go with Google Trader and Kaymu (on a friend's testimony).

    2. Anonymous, i am actually stating it as it is. I know my rights and as i have managed a customer services department for a bank in UK, i know what customer services should be and what Jumia has isnt.
