Frustrations Of A Blogger

Blogging so far has been a roller coaster experience with considerable mood swings, hyped one minute, excited and sharing ideas with anyone close and willing to listen and the next minute detached and shrouded in my private world, anxious about the challenges of finance (You do need cash to run a blog), stress and fear of not being able to stick to this goal.
I know I’ve been a nuisance  amongst friends with my constant Facebook tags, BBM broadcasts and Twitter mentions and I’m sorry about that but definitely not sorry enough to stop so keep having the patience and tolerance to bear with me.

Like any blogger I’ve been trying to deal with the challenge of carving a niche for myself within the blog sphere and cultivating a varied audience, it’s been an uphill task but I’ll sure get there someday.
Secondly, I worry about blog content which entails keeping you guys interested with compelling topics, growing and directing traffic to the blog. Everyone loves an interactive blog, not just amongst readers but also the blogger being able and willing to make inputs as well and I’m going to keep it that way so I do hope anyone reading would be kind enough to read and share their personal views and experiences and not just to read and move on and yes I’m sending you all on a guilty trip lol!  Cos writing topics without feedbacks gives the impression of speaking to an empty room which is discouraging and it defeats the goal of creating a community.

Close friends have complained of being neglected and ignored, I wish to use this medium to set the record straight, it was never my intention to do so just that your girl's got a lot on her plate right now, make una no vex for me biko. Did I forget the group who feel they are doing me a favour by coming here  and they never forget to make it obvious? Ofcourse you’re doing me a favour and I do appreciate it but if  you really feel the need to rub it in, I suggest you do it within the blog so I can add It to my page views and comments. Thank you darlings.

Finally, This blog was created in 2011 and I never took it serious until last month and here's my one month report card, as at this minute I have 11,873 visitors and I have you to thank for that so let me use this opportunity to thank everyone who has been here and friends and acquaintances that have been helping me spread the word, I really appreciate the effort and thanks for the comments dropped as well. God Bless You Real Good

TGIF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. I love being here and would continue to feature as long as our epileptic networks allows it. ( you won't believe that this is my third attempt at posting a comment on this particular piece!!! Phew...)
I didn't know about the blog till you started tagging me and I feel so honored... Another reason why this happens to be "my blog" is your presence here! Yeah... This is the only blog I have ever bothered to post comments and air my views because its interactive. For those other ones, I simply read, laugh, sigh, then shrug and go: NEXT for obvious reasons.
You have done well and I am personally proud of you...
Here's wishing you many more years of writing bliss.
    More Blessings! xx

Hmmmm.... It's a two way street... I look forward to the topics you put up - being (probably) the newest visitor to your blog. So far, I can state that I've not been bored...considering how short my attention span can be(you may know how we architects can be when we can't see lines or models).

Keep them coming and if I see any blog posts that don't include me in your twitter mentions....I won't tell what I'd do to you. ;-)

Well done. You're doing a great job.

  7. Being a blogger myself (even though semi-retired), i identify with ur worries. Stick with what u feel most comfortable with. Do not try to be a replicate of anyone else's, for instance, there are many lindaikeji "look-alike" blogs. It is not by force to blog about current events or gossips. You can blog about ur personal experiences, religion, cooking, family, friends, share joke, anything that makes u happy & still be able to blend it with current events/politics/gists. Check out this blog verastic.com she's good with that.

I love ur writing style, u have a very good way with words & I know u will definitely carve out a niche for urself very soon. Ngwa enough talk. Ji sike, may God bless ur efforts

  8. Crunchy, (the very first time I'll be calling you that...sounds kinda strange) you know I've got your back all the way. You have what it takes to make it. Just don't give up half way...or you go pay me back all the ideas and support I've invested in this blog. Lol...for those angry at the constant tags and broadcasts, make una no too vex. Just try and understand....but if e no let you understand, mpagi dia!

  11. It's nice knowing that you are still able to do what you love to do in spite of all the imposing odds and this has always been and still remains one of your strong points and quite an inspiration to many of us that are your fans..even when we don't say it...lol. Just keep on being YOU and l assure you, every other thing will definitely fall into place.
Meanwhile, l will always do all l can to check up every now and then whenever time permits(at least to make sure say Crunchy apple no go craze completely...lol). Just keep the blog active, keep believing in yourself and you'll always see us waving those little red flags by the side...
