As usual, I had an intriguing chat with someone over the
weekend and at some point, the discussion settled on the dating vices of
Nigerian women. According to him, it’s only in Nigeria that you’ll find a woman
in love with several men and in full relationship with all of them at once.
Also, Nigerian women do not go into these relationships
without expectations, they expect to be compensated monetarily for their
involvement.
The married ones are not left out either, gone are those
days when women have extra marital affairs just for the thrill of it, now they
want a piece of the action, and like the singles expect to be compensated.
After hearing this, I tired sampling opinions of some other
people and all responses tallied and personally, I feel it’s an indictment on
our womenfolk.
Is there a justification for this trend? Are these mere accusations
leveled at the women just to leave the field of play to the menfolk?
This is not far from the truth. Although some women wld disagree wiv dis mere but crious fact.

I did a random sampling myself in two towns and from that exercise I can say that about 80 percent of women are fully involved in cash for sex ( prostitution) the sampling involved me posing as a prospective customer and the figures called ranged from 10K to trip to Dubai with Shopping money. We are finished ooh, even married women pose as single ladies to get money for sex. Social networking has also made it easier for this to thrive, see girls and women advertise their wares( bodies) via blackberry messenger, whatsapp and there is a notable site called Badoo which is now a den for all sorts. We need solutions to all of this. I pray for the unmarried men sha even the married too.

ReplyDeleteI take exception to this!!!! I am married and unless my close friends are having the extra marital affairs in hiding I refuse to accept this as a fact. Three things are there to restrain us namely: Fear of God, Intesnse Love for spouse and Self respect. I have close male friends and I'm not sleeping with any of them!!
ReplyDeleteI'd agree abt single girls and I'd also say their reason being d male folks offering to pay. Some Girls are d way d re bcos men are willing to pay. If men stop patronizing prostitutes do u think they would still exist. As for married women,the above write up sounded as though 90% of married women re into it. I'd say 20%. And I cn also say frm my own research done, married women who indulge in such are 1)those who av lost love for spouse 2)those who want to revenge a cheating spouse 3)those hu are greedy and cnt be content with what their spouse provides 4)those who simply want to belong. Many people always condems the prostitute but not the ones (male folks) petronizing them.frm my research also, I came to undstd that Both single and married female who have sex or are in relationships for money are there cz the male partner is willing to offer. NOTE: many married women even though they want to cheat fear for their kids, lossing their home,what their inlaws wuld think etc(ie frm my research) unlike men who jst cheat not minding the concequence
ReplyDeleteReally! There are no clear-cut solutions to issues like these. The fault is from both parties: womenfolk and menfolk alike. We just have to pray cos its on the increase.,.
