Someone sent me a link about this Chinese fad yesterday. Apparently this fad's been going on for a couple of years now where live animals are packaged in plastic bags containing a liquid nutrient and oxygen that allows them to live up to 2 months. These pieces are made into jewelries and key holders.
There's been a public outcry over this and a web based platform has been created to give people around the world the power to stop this fad by allowing you sign an online petition to be delivered to the Chinese government.
While you're at it, take time to go through the website, especially the organisers of Occupy Nigeria.This is a lovely and efficient way to start and win campaigns at the local, national, and international level.
